Activator

act-COR is a chemical product used to activate and start the rusting process in record time (2–3 h). It is a high-quality, innovative product that helps achieve a professional result on Corten steel surfaces.

The act-COR patina activator is used only on a prepared and cleaned surface:

• if the Corten steel is cold-rolled (Corten A) — it is enough to degrease it thoroughly and remove all dirt;
• if the Corten steel is hot-rolled (Corten B) — it must be degreased and the mill scale layer must be removed.

We recommend using this product with a sprayer for maximum effect. If different rusting tones are desired, more than one coat will be needed; first wait until the surface is completely dry after the first spraying (2–3 hours). Drying time depends on ambient and climate conditions.
