Delivery terms
1. General provisions.
1.1. These delivery terms form part of the terms of purchase of UAB “Metallum novum” and are read together with them.
1.2. Goods are delivered by the Seller or by a carrier engaged by the Seller.
2. Delivery methods.
2.1. Collection from the Seller’s premises at Marių g. 66, Kaunas, during working hours. Collection is free of charge.
2.2. Courier delivery to the address indicated by the Buyer within the Republic of Lithuania.
2.3. Delivery by the Seller’s own transport where courier service is unsuitable because of the dimensions or weight of the goods.
2.4. Delivery to other European Union countries is agreed individually.
2.5. The specific delivery method is stated before the Buyer confirms the order and in the order confirmation.
3. Delivery time.
3.1. Goods held in stock are dispatched within the time stated in the commercial offer.
3.2. The production time of custom-made goods depends on the complexity and scale of the product and is stated in the commercial offer.
3.3. Unless agreed otherwise, the time is counted from the day payment or the advance payment is received.
3.4. The Seller makes every effort to keep to the stated times, but is not liable for carrier delays or delays caused by force majeure.
3.5. The Seller informs the Buyer of any delay without undue delay and agrees a new delivery date.
4. Delivery cost.
4.1. The delivery cost depends on the dimensions and weight of the goods and on the delivery location.
4.2. The exact delivery cost is stated before the Buyer confirms the order. No additional charges are applied without the Buyer’s separate consent.
5. Handover and inspection.
5.1. Goods are accepted at the delivery address by the Buyer or by a person authorised by the Buyer, on presentation of an identity document.
5.2. The Buyer must check the condition of the packaging at the moment of handover.
5.3. If the packaging is damaged, the Buyer must note this in the carrier’s handover document and draw up a damage report, and must inform the Seller without delay.
5.4. If no damage is noted in the handover document, the consignment is deemed to have been handed over intact.
5.5. The risk of accidental loss of or damage to the goods passes to the Buyer at the moment of handover.
5.6. Unless stated otherwise before the order is confirmed, unloading of oversized goods and carrying them indoors are not included in the delivery service. The Buyer must ensure access to the delivery location and the possibility of unloading.
6. Uncollected goods.
6.1. If neither the Buyer nor an authorised person is present at the indicated address and the goods cannot be handed over, a repeat delivery is agreed separately and may be charged for.
6.2. Goods ready for collection at the Seller’s premises are stored for thirty calendar days from the day the Buyer is notified that they are ready. Storage beyond that time may be charged for.
