Activator (wet wipe)

The act-COR wet wipe is a quick and convenient way to activate and start the rusting process in record time (2–3 h). It is a high-quality, innovative product that helps achieve a professional result on Corten steel surfaces. The package contains one single-use wipe soaked in activator. Coverage: up to 2 square metres.

For your convenience, disposable gloves are included in the package.

The act-COR patina activator is used only on a prepared and cleaned surface:

• if the Corten steel is cold-rolled (Corten A) — it is enough to degrease it thoroughly and remove all dirt;
• if the Corten steel is hot-rolled (Corten B) — it must be degreased and the mill scale layer must be removed.

If different rusting tones are desired, the surface will need to be coated several times, waiting until it is completely dry after the first application (2–3 hours). Drying time depends on ambient and climate conditions.
