Mastaičiai Park

Our completed projects range from individual solutions for private spaces to public areas and architectural landmarks. In every project, we strive to combine durable materials, functionality, and aesthetics, so that our Corten steel products blend naturally into their surroundings and lend them a distinctive character.

The aim of the "Discover Alšėnai" project is to explore the Alšėnai eldership through art, traditions, present and past, and to attract as many community members and visitors as possible to Mastaičiai Park.

We joined the project by manufacturing Corten steel walls engraved with unique paper-cutting motifs by folk artist Jurgita Zinkienė. Each wall carries a QR code linking to interactive content about the Alšėnai eldership and the Mastaičiai village area. We also carried out the concreting and installation of the walls.

Production drawings were prepared from the submitted paper-cuttings, redrawn to stay true to the visual while adapting them to manufacturing capabilities, in coordination with the author. To speed up the Cor-Ten oxidation, the mill scale was removed and initial oxidation was performed on site during installation using dedicated Cor-Ten rusting agents.

This is the first participatory-budget project in the Alšėnai eldership, actively shaped by residents proposing ideas and voting.
