The steel absorbs the sun’s warmth and gradually shares it once the sun has set beyond the horizon. The sculpture’s sunny colour and spatial cut-outs only strengthen the realism of the rays. The play of shadows and the harmony of colours with the surroundings create a hypnotic sight — you want to walk around it in circles, watching a scene that seems assembled from separate pieces and looks different from every perspective.
