SAND OFFICE business center

SAND OFFICE is a new A+ energy class business centre at the junction of Žalgirio and Linkmenų streets in the fast-changing Šnipiškės district — a place where work, leisure and the city merge into one harmonious whole. Its architecture combines modern design, sustainable materials and innovative solutions that add value for employees and guests alike.

Our contribution is the distinctive outdoor and indoor spaces where Corten steel became the key accent. We installed large planted flowerbeds integrated between the steps descending into the courtyard; the courtyard paths are framed with Corten lawn edging, and the trees are protected by Rusty-made Corten rings. Winding benches for rest repeat the shapes of the paths, their thermo-wood complementing the facade aesthetics.

A dedicated ramp reinforced with a Corten steel wall gives access for bicycles and other wheeled transport. The roof terrace is decorated with massive metal planters up to 4 metres long, and round tree planters were installed on the balconies. All structures were lifted into place by crane — up to the sixth floor.
